Good morning all! Our residents have a jam-packed day ahead of them which will start by them expressing their emotions through some poetry, before our Bluebell Dementia Café where we’ll be having a nice chat accompanied by some tea of course 😊. Later in the afternoon, we will be enjoying some classical music from Jane and to finish off the day, we’ll be stepping back through time to discuss former Prime Ministers. Just a normal day at Westacre! 😉 ... See MoreSee Less

We will be heading out to the local community for a Dementia Friends session at Christ Church on 2nd March. The aim of this session will be to educate and inform members of the community about dementia, how it affects lives and ways in which we can help people with dementia feel less isolated.

We are very passionate about this initiative because it is important that more people are made aware of dementia.
