We’re kicking the week off with an interactiveMe session. For those who don’t know, interactiveMe is a tool offered to residents which offers instant access to memorabilia and stimulates their minds.

Likes and dislikes, old photos, favourite music, and anything other interests can be accessed at the click of a button.

As the cost of essential PPE rises, it is welcome relief that care homes will now receive free protective equipment until March. Throughout the pandemic, we have been very resourceful in sourcing our own PPE and have had help from several organisations.

This is an essential component to ensure that we can provide safe care to residents.

We have had to make the decision to temporarily halt visits to the home. As coronavirus cases rise in the UK, it is our duty to be proactive for the safety of our residents and ensure the virus does not enter the home.

To maintain a vital connection with families and friends, all residents will have access to phone calls and video calls.
