🏅 Westacre Nursing Home Olympic Day! 🏅
What an incredible day we had celebrating our very own Olympics! 🎉 Our residents showed their competitive spirit participating in hockey, shotput, and rowing events, and Team Tennis emerged as the overall champions! A special thank you to Laura from the team at Rise for joining us and bringing so much energy! 🙌

Today at Westacre Nursing Home, residents made the most of the sunny weather by foraging for greenery ahead of tomorrows flower arranging activity. The afternoon was spent singing with the Christ Church team and with a lovely visit from our neighborhood dogs, Bonnie and Benji! 🌞🌿🎶🐾

"The staff At Westacre are amazing. They go above and beyond to ensure that my father is happy and well cared for. The home is very well set out, there is a garden the residents can enjoy. There is lovely artwork on the walls. It has a home-from-home feel."

🎉✨ What a fantastic day we had at Westacre Nursing Home celebrating VE Day with a garden party! 🎈🌺 From reminiscing about the past, to a delicious afternoon tea to lively music🎵🍰 We were also blessed by a guest appearance from a lil pup called Fig 💖 🐶 Our residents and staff came together to honor and remember the bravery and sacrifices of those who served during World War II. 🙌❤️

✨🎄Getting into the festive spirit with a cosy drink afternoon at Westacre Nursing Home. Our residents and staff enjoyed some Christmas-themed coffees and hot chocolates, complete with gingerbread marshmallows and whipped cream. The gingerbread coffee was a surprising favourite! 🎄💖
